Three foreigners, one Malaysian and two Indonesians, were arrested on suspicion of fraud on July 29 in Hanoi. Ahmad Azuddin Bin MD Zan, 38, Ardenn Benedict Hutagalung, 38, and Bambang Sutarso, 29, handed over fake Hong Kong Standard Chartered Bank checkbooks after being captured. They all entered Vietnam visa-free.
